Description

A moist cake soaked with juicy peaches, topped with a buttery cobbler-style crumble—sweet, cozy, and perfect for potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups fresh or canned peach slices, drained
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until smooth, then pour into the baking dish.
  3. Arrange peach slices evenly over the batter.
  4. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, oats, cubed butter, and cinnamon. Use fingers to crumble mixture over the peaches.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool slightly before serving.
