Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups fresh or canned peach slices, drained
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until smooth, then pour into the baking dish.
- Arrange peach slices evenly over the batter.
- In another bowl, combine brown sugar, oats, cubed butter, and cinnamon. Use fingers to crumble mixture over the peaches.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool slightly before serving.
