Description

A moist and flavorful cake bursting with sweet pineapple pieces, perfect for dessert or a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add pineapple with juice, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Serve warm or at room temperature.
