Description

A quick and easy stir fry with ground beef and cabbage, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small head of cabbage, shredded
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the shredded cabbage to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until the cabbage is wilted and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for another minute until everything is well combined and heated through.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste. For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar or a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.
