Description
A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender chicken breast, crisp vegetables, and a savory garlic sauce, served over fluffy white rice. Perfect for a busy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced thin
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 1/2 cup snow peas
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 cups cooked white rice (for serving)
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add chicken slices and cook until golden and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- Add remaining 1 tbsp oil to the wok. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return chicken to the wok. Pour the sauce over everything and stir well. Cook for 1 minute until sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve immediately over fluffy white rice. Garnish with sliced green onions.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. Add more red pepper flakes for extra heat or substitute vegetables based on what you have on hand.
