Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 8 oz rigatoni pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rigatoni according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season steak cubes with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add steak in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining 1 tablespoon butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked rigatoni and seared steak bites back into the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated in the sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
