Description

Succulent sea scallops baked in a rich garlic butter sauce with a crispy breadcrumb topping. A quick and elegant seafood dish perfect for a special dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sea scallops, patted dry
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange scallops in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the scallops.
  4. In another small bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the scallops.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until scallops are opaque and the topping is golden and bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
