Description
Succulent sea scallops baked in a rich garlic butter sauce with a crispy breadcrumb topping. A quick and elegant seafood dish perfect for a special dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb sea scallops, patted dry
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange scallops in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the scallops.
- In another small bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the scallops.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until scallops are opaque and the topping is golden and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
