Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
- Stir in orzo pasta, beef broth, heavy cream, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until orzo is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
