A festive and elegant appetizer featuring creamy melted brie, tangy cranberry sauce, crunchy walnuts, and a drizzle of hot honey on crispy crostini.
Ingredients
- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces brie cheese, sliced into small pieces
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or canned)
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tablespoons hot honey, plus more for drizzling
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil. Bake for 5-7 minutes until lightly golden.
- Top each crostini with a piece of brie, a spoonful of cranberry sauce, and a sprinkle of chopped walnuts.
- Return to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, until the brie is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with hot honey. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves. Serve warm.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the honey.
