Description

A delightful appetizer featuring creamy melted brie, tart cranberries, crunchy walnuts, and a drizzle of spicy hot honey on crispy crostini.


Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, sliced or cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons hot honey
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil. Toast for 5-7 minutes until golden and crisp.
  2. Top each crostini with brie slices or pieces. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes until brie is melted and bubbly.
  3. In a small bowl, mix dried cranberries and chopped walnuts. Sprinkle mixture over warm brie crostini.
  4. Drizzle hot honey over each crostini. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste. For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the honey.
