A delightful appetizer featuring creamy melted brie, tart cranberries, crunchy walnuts, and a drizzle of spicy hot honey on crispy crostini.
Ingredients
- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces brie cheese, sliced or cut into small pieces
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 3 tablespoons hot honey
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil. Toast for 5-7 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Top each crostini with brie slices or pieces. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes until brie is melted and bubbly.
- In a small bowl, mix dried cranberries and chopped walnuts. Sprinkle mixture over warm brie crostini.
- Drizzle hot honey over each crostini. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the honey.
