Description

A delightful appetizer featuring creamy baked brie, tart cranberries, crunchy walnuts, and a drizzle of spicy honey on crispy crostini.


Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup hot honey (or regular honey mixed with a pinch of cayenne pepper)
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and toast for 5-7 minutes until lightly golden.
  2. Place a piece of Brie on each crostini, then top with a few dried cranberries and chopped walnuts.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the Brie is melted and bubbly.
  4. Remove from oven and drizzle hot honey over each crostini. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste. For extra heat, add red pepper flakes to the honey.
