Description
A warm, gooey baked brie topped with sweet figs and crunchy pecans, perfect for an elegant appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) wheel of Brie cheese
- 1/2 cup dried figs, chopped
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)
- Crackers or sliced baguette for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the Brie wheel on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in a small oven-safe dish.
- In a small bowl, combine chopped figs, pecans, honey, and balsamic vinegar. Stir until well mixed.
- Spoon the fig-pecan mixture evenly over the top of the Brie. If using, sprinkle with fresh rosemary.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is soft and starting to melt slightly.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter and surround with crackers or sliced baguette. Serve warm.
