Description
A warm, bubbly dip combining ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, and three melted cheeses. Served with crusty bread or crostini.
Ingredients
- 4 large Roma tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine diced tomatoes, basil, garlic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Spread softened cream cheese evenly in the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish or small baking dish.
- Spoon the tomato mixture over the cream cheese.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella, Parmesan, and provolone cheeses evenly over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving warm with crostini or sliced baguette.
