Ingredients
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained and finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Crusty bread for serving
Instructions
- In a small skillet, warm the olive oil over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sun-dried tomatoes; cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove from heat and stir in the balsamic vinegar, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a shallow serving bowl. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve warm or at room temperature with chunks of crusty bread for dipping.
