Description
A savory flatbread topped with sautéed spinach, mushrooms, and brie, drizzled with a creamy garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza crust
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cups fresh spinach
- 4 ounces brie cheese, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For Garlic Cream: 1/2 cup heavy cream, 2 cloves garlic (minced), 2 tablespoons cream cheese, 1 tablespoon butter
- Optional: red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden, about 5 minutes. Add spinach and cook just until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add garlic for cream, then whisk in heavy cream and cream cheese until smooth. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Place flatbread on a baking sheet. Spread garlic cream over the crust.
- Top with mushroom-spinach mixture and arrange brie slices evenly.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
- Slice and serve warm. Optionally garnish with red pepper flakes.
