Description
A gourmet flatbread topped with sautéed mushrooms, fresh spinach, creamy brie, and a rich garlic cream sauce, baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza crust
- 2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped
- 1 cup cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 4 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and sauté until browned, about 5 minutes. Add spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a small saucepan, combine heavy cream and minced garlic. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Spread garlic cream evenly over the flatbread. Top with mushroom-spinach mixture and cubed brie. Sprinkle with thyme.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is crispy and cheese is melted. Slice and serve warm.
