Description

Festive puff pastry trees filled with spinach, feta, and cranberries. A perfect appetizer for holiday parties.

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix spinach, feta, cranberries, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll out puff pastry sheets on a floured surface. Cut each sheet into Christmas tree shapes using a template or knife.
  4. Place half of the trees on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon the spinach mixture onto the center of each tree, leaving a border.
  5. Top with the remaining trees and press edges to seal. Use a fork to crimp edges. Cut small slits for vents.
  6. Brush with egg wash. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
