Description
Succulent shrimp seasoned with a spicy blend, nestled in warm corn tortillas and topped with a refreshing mango salsa.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 ripe mango, diced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- Optional: sour cream, lime wedges, avocado slices for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
- In another bowl, combine mango, red bell pepper, cilantro, lime juice, red onion, and jalapeño to make the salsa.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Assemble tacos: place a few shrimp on each tortilla, top with mango salsa, and add optional toppings as desired.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. For extra heat, add more cayenne or a dash of hot sauce.
