Description
Juicy beef meatballs with a sweet and spicy honey glaze, served with a fresh cilantro lime sauce for a zesty kick.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper until combined. Form into 1-inch meatballs and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake meatballs for 18-20 minutes until cooked through and browned.
- While meatballs bake, whisk honey, soy sauce, and sriracha in a small saucepan over medium heat until simmering. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- In a blender, combine cilantro, lime juice, Greek yogurt, and olive oil. Blend until smooth to make the sauce.
- Toss baked meatballs in the honey glaze until coated. Serve with cilantro lime sauce drizzled on top.
