Description

Juicy beef meatballs with a sweet and spicy honey glaze, served with a fresh cilantro lime sauce for a zesty kick.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper until combined. Form into 1-inch meatballs and place on the baking sheet.
  3. Bake meatballs for 18-20 minutes until cooked through and browned.
  4. While meatballs bake, whisk honey, soy sauce, and sriracha in a small saucepan over medium heat until simmering. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. In a blender, combine cilantro, lime juice, Greek yogurt, and olive oil. Blend until smooth to make the sauce.
  6. Toss baked meatballs in the honey glaze until coated. Serve with cilantro lime sauce drizzled on top.
