Ingredients
- 1 lb sea scallops, patted dry
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Season scallops with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat until shimmering.
- Add scallops in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, cilantro, garlic, honey, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Remove scallops from skillet, drizzle sauce over them, and serve immediately.
