A delightful appetizer featuring juicy pears, creamy Brie, tart cranberries, and a sweet thyme-infused honey on crispy crostini.
Ingredients
- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces Brie cheese, sliced
- 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and toast for 8-10 minutes until golden.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey and fresh thyme sprigs. Warm over low heat for 3-4 minutes, then remove from heat and let steep.
- Top each crostini with a slice of Brie, a pear slice, and a few dried cranberries. Season with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle the thyme honey over the crostini and serve immediately.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of chopped walnuts or a dash of cinnamon.
