Description

Elegant and easy bite-sized appetizers featuring creamy brie, crunchy pecans, and a sweet-tart cranberry drizzle in crispy phyllo cups.


Ingredients

  • 15 mini phyllo pastry shells (frozen, thawed)
  • 4 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange phyllo shells on a baking sheet.
  2. Place a small cube of brie into each phyllo shell.
  3. Top with a sprinkle of chopped pecans.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cranberry sauce with honey until well combined.
  5. Spoon a small amount of the cranberry mixture over each filled cup.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until brie is melted and shells are golden.
  7. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh thyme leaves if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste. For a savory twist, add a pinch of black pepper or swap pecans for walnuts.
