Elegant and easy bite-sized appetizers featuring creamy brie, crunchy pecans, and a sweet-tart cranberry drizzle in crispy phyllo cups.
Ingredients
- 15 mini phyllo pastry shells (frozen, thawed)
- 4 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
- 1/4 cup pecans, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange phyllo shells on a baking sheet.
- Place a small cube of brie into each phyllo shell.
- Top with a sprinkle of chopped pecans.
- In a small bowl, mix cranberry sauce with honey until well combined.
- Spoon a small amount of the cranberry mixture over each filled cup.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until brie is melted and shells are golden.
- Remove from oven and garnish with fresh thyme leaves if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. For a savory twist, add a pinch of black pepper or swap pecans for walnuts.
