Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients until combined.
- Fold in crushed freeze-dried strawberries. Drop tablespoon-sized dough onto baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on wire rack before serving.
