A vibrant and shareable platter featuring creamy hummus, briny olives, luscious burrata, and an array of Mediterranean accompaniments, perfect for appetizers or light dining.
Ingredients
- 1 cup store-bought or homemade hummus
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- 1 cup mixed Mediterranean olives (such as Kalamata and Castelvetrano)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 English cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp za'atar seasoning
- Sea salt and black pepper to taste
- Warm pita bread or flatbread for serving
Instructions
- Arrange the hummus in a shallow bowl or directly on a large platter. Drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle with za'atar.
- Place the burrata in the center of the platter. Gently tear it open to expose the creamy interior.
- Scatter the olives, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, and red onion around the platter. Tuck fresh mint leaves throughout.
- Drizzle the entire platter with the remaining olive oil and lemon juice. Season lightly with sea salt and black pepper.
- Serve immediately with warm pita bread or flatbread on the side for scooping and dipping.
