Description

A vibrant and shareable platter featuring creamy hummus, briny olives, luscious burrata, and an array of Mediterranean accompaniments, perfect for appetizers or light dining.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup store-bought or homemade hummus
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 1 cup mixed Mediterranean olives (such as Kalamata and Castelvetrano)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 English cucumber, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp za'atar seasoning
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • Warm pita bread or flatbread for serving


Instructions

  1. Arrange the hummus in a shallow bowl or directly on a large platter. Drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle with za'atar.
  2. Place the burrata in the center of the platter. Gently tear it open to expose the creamy interior.
  3. Scatter the olives, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, and red onion around the platter. Tuck fresh mint leaves throughout.
  4. Drizzle the entire platter with the remaining olive oil and lemon juice. Season lightly with sea salt and black pepper.
  5. Serve immediately with warm pita bread or flatbread on the side for scooping and dipping.
