Description

A rich and indulgent pasta dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy garlic parmesan sauce, perfect for a special occasion or cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  4. Bring the sauce to a simmer, then reduce heat to low. Stir in grated parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and add the drained pasta. Toss everything together until well coated in the sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
