Description

A moist and decadent cake loaded with ripe bananas, crunchy walnuts, and a rich caramel glaze, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Fold in chopped walnuts, then pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Let cake cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
