Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chopped walnuts, then pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cake cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
