Ingredients
- 1 box brownie mix (plus required oil, eggs, and water)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line 12 muffin cups.
- Prepare brownie batter according to package instructions and divide evenly among muffin cups, filling each about halfway.
- In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Spoon cheesecake mixture over brownie batter in each cup, spreading gently.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until set. Let cool completely before serving, topped with whipped cream if desired.
