Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce, warmed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Drizzle warm hot fudge sauce over the top before serving.
