Description

A decadent dessert bread that combines the fudgy richness of brownies with a moist, cake-like texture, topped with a warm hot fudge drizzle for an irresistible treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce, warmed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  6. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Drizzle warm hot fudge sauce over the top before serving.
