Description

All the iconic flavors of a Big Mac are wrapped up in a low-carb, handheld tortilla. Juicy seasoned beef, crisp lettuce, pickles, cheese, and a creamy special sauce make this a fun and satisfying meal the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 large flour tortillas (or low-carb wraps)
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced white onion
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle slices
  • 4 slices American cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, mustard, vinegar, paprika, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. Refrigerate until needed.
  2. Season ground beef with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Cook in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up, until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. Warm the tortillas in a dry pan or microwave for a few seconds so they are pliable.
  4. Place a tortilla on a flat surface. Lay one slice of cheese on the lower third, then top with a generous portion of the cooked beef.
  5. Add a handful of shredded lettuce, some diced onion, and a few pickle slices over the beef.
  6. Drizzle with the special sauce, then fold in the sides and roll the tortilla tightly from the bottom, tucking the filling as you go.
  7. Slice the wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately with extra sauce on the side if desired.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste. For a spicy kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the special sauce. Use ground turkey or a plant-based crumble for a lighter option.
