Description
Tender seared steak bites in garlic butter served over a bed of creamy alfredo cheese tortellini. A quick and indulgent one-pan meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season the steak bites with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tbsp butter. Add the steak bites and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add the remaining 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, then add the Parmesan cheese. Stir continuously until smooth and thickened, about 3 minutes.
- Add the cooked tortellini to the sauce and toss to coat. Cook for 1 minute.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet, toss everything together, and garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes (if using). Serve immediately.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
