Description

Tender, juicy steak bites seared in garlic butter, served alongside cheese tortellini tossed in a rich, creamy Alfredo sauce. A decadent and satisfying meal perfect for a special dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 (20 oz) package cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add steak bites and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and nutmeg. Cook until sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain.
  6. Add cooked tortellini to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat. Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter and stir until melted.
  7. Return steak bites to the skillet and gently toss with the pasta. Cook for 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
