Description

Tender cod strips pan-seared in a rich garlic butter sauce, served with a zesty sweet chili lime dipping sauce for a quick and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb cod fillets, cut into strips
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • Lime wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Pat the cod strips dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add cod strips and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Return cod strips to the skillet, tossing gently to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for an additional minute.
  5. In a small bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, lime juice, and cilantro to make the dipping sauce.
  6. Serve cod strips hot with the sweet chili lime sauce and lime wedges on the side.
