Description

A savory flatbread topped with garlic butter seasoned ground beef, creamy whipped feta, and a drizzle of sweet heat honey for a perfect balance of flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 flatbreads (such as naan or pita)
  • 8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or to taste)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbreads on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes until slightly crisp.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add ground beef, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 8 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. In a food processor, combine feta cheese, Greek yogurt, and olive oil. Blend until smooth and creamy. Spread whipped feta evenly over the baked flatbreads.
  4. Top flatbreads with the garlic butter ground beef mixture.
  5. In a small bowl, mix honey with red pepper flakes. Drizzle the sweet heat honey over the flatbreads. Garnish with chopped parsley.
  6. Return to oven for 2-3 minutes to warm through. Serve immediately.
