Description
Tender sea scallops baked in a rich garlic butter sauce with a crispy panko topping. Ready in under 30 minutes for an elegant yet easy meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb sea scallops, patted dry
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Arrange scallops in a single layer in the prepared dish.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter and minced garlic. Drizzle over scallops.
- In another bowl, combine panko, Parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle evenly over scallops.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until scallops are opaque and topping is golden brown.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes after baking.
