Description

Tender sea scallops baked in a rich garlic butter sauce with a crispy panko topping. Ready in under 30 minutes for an elegant yet easy meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sea scallops, patted dry
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Lemon wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Arrange scallops in a single layer in the prepared dish.
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter and minced garlic. Drizzle over scallops.
  4. In another bowl, combine panko, Parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle evenly over scallops.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until scallops are opaque and topping is golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste. For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes after baking.
