Description

Tender sea scallops baked in a rich garlic butter sauce with a crispy breadcrumb topping. Quick, elegant, and perfect for a weeknight dinner or special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds sea scallops, patted dry
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice.
  3. Arrange scallops in a single layer in the prepared dish. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the scallops.
  5. In another small bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle over scallops.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until scallops are opaque and breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
