Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh sea scallops, patted dry
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange scallops in a single layer in the baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over them.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top if using for a crispy texture.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until scallops are opaque and cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
