Description

A show-stopping appetizer with layers of flaky phyllo dough, creamy Brie cheese, and festive cranberry sauce, baked until golden and gooey.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) wheel of Brie cheese
  • 8 sheets of phyllo dough, thawed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface, brush lightly with melted butter, and layer another sheet on top. Repeat until you have 4 layers, brushing each with butter.
  3. Place the Brie wheel in the center of the phyllo stack. Top with cranberry sauce, pecans, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  4. Carefully fold the phyllo edges over the Brie, creating a wrapped bundle. Brush the outside with more butter.
  5. Repeat with remaining 4 phyllo sheets to create a second layer on top, brushing with butter as you go. Ensure the Brie is fully enclosed.
  6. Transfer to the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
