Description
A show-stopping appetizer with layers of flaky phyllo dough, creamy Brie cheese, and festive cranberry sauce, baked until golden and gooey.
Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) wheel of Brie cheese
- 8 sheets of phyllo dough, thawed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface, brush lightly with melted butter, and layer another sheet on top. Repeat until you have 4 layers, brushing each with butter.
- Place the Brie wheel in the center of the phyllo stack. Top with cranberry sauce, pecans, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Carefully fold the phyllo edges over the Brie, creating a wrapped bundle. Brush the outside with more butter.
- Repeat with remaining 4 phyllo sheets to create a second layer on top, brushing with butter as you go. Ensure the Brie is fully enclosed.
- Transfer to the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
