Description

Rich, fudgy chocolate cookies with melty marshmallow centers and chocolate chips for an indulgent treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 12 large marshmallows, halved


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop dough into 1-inch balls, place on baking sheets, and bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, press a marshmallow half into each cookie center, and bake 2 more minutes until marshmallows are soft.
