Rich, fudgy chocolate cookies with melty marshmallow centers and chocolate chips for an indulgent treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 large marshmallows, halved
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough into 1-inch balls, place on baking sheets, and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven, press a marshmallow half into each cookie center, and bake 2 more minutes until marshmallows are soft.
