Description

A delightful flatbread that combines creamy brie, tart cranberries, crunchy toasted walnuts, and a spicy-sweet hot honey drizzle for a perfect appetizer or light meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made flatbread or naan bread
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (or to taste)
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place flatbread on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Bake for 5 minutes until lightly crisp.
  3. Remove from oven and arrange slices of brie evenly over the flatbread. Sprinkle dried cranberries and chopped walnuts on top.
  4. Return to oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. While flatbread bakes, combine honey and red pepper flakes in a small bowl. Microwave for 15-20 seconds or heat on the stovetop until warm.
  6. Remove flatbread from oven, drizzle with hot honey, and season with a pinch of salt. Slice and serve warm.
