Description
A delightful flatbread that combines creamy brie, tart cranberries, crunchy toasted walnuts, and a spicy-sweet hot honey drizzle for a perfect appetizer or light meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pre-made flatbread or naan bread
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup brie cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (or to taste)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place flatbread on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Bake for 5 minutes until lightly crisp.
- Remove from oven and arrange slices of brie evenly over the flatbread. Sprinkle dried cranberries and chopped walnuts on top.
- Return to oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- While flatbread bakes, combine honey and red pepper flakes in a small bowl. Microwave for 15-20 seconds or heat on the stovetop until warm.
- Remove flatbread from oven, drizzle with hot honey, and season with a pinch of salt. Slice and serve warm.
