Description
A delightful crispy flatbread topped with creamy brie, tangy cranberries, toasted walnuts, and a spicy-sweet hot honey drizzle. Perfect for a quick appetizer or a light meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza crust (about 12 inches)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup brie cheese, sliced or cubed
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1-2 teaspoons hot sauce (e.g., sriracha or red pepper flakes infused honey)
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a small skillet, toast walnuts over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until fragrant. Set aside.
- Place flatbread on a baking sheet. Brush with olive oil, then top with brie pieces, cranberries, and toasted walnuts.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and crispy, and brie is melted.
- While flatbread bakes, stir together honey and hot sauce in a small bowl. Drizzle over hot flatbread and garnish with fresh thyme if desired. Slice and serve warm.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. Use less hot sauce for a milder drizzle, or add a pinch of sea salt before serving.
