A delicious flatbread topped with creamy tzatziki, seasoned chicken, fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, and red onion for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 flatbreads (such as naan or pita)
- 1 cup tzatziki sauce
- 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- Fresh dill or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, toss chicken with olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread chicken pieces in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until cooked through and golden.
- Place flatbreads on a separate baking sheet and warm in the oven for 5 minutes.
- Spread a generous layer of tzatziki sauce on each flatbread.
- Top with cooked chicken, cucumber slices, diced tomatoes, and red onion slices.
- Garnish with fresh dill or parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. For extra creaminess, add a sprinkle of feta cheese.
