Description

A vibrant and flavorful flatbread topped with tender seasoned chicken, creamy tzatziki sauce, crisp cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, and tangy red onion. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large flatbreads or naan
  • 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)
  • Fresh dill or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, toss chicken slices with 1 tbsp olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat remaining 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet. Warm in the oven for 3-4 minutes until slightly crispy.
  4. Spread a generous layer of tzatziki sauce over each flatbread.
  5. Top with cooked chicken, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, and red onion. Sprinkle feta cheese if using.
  6. Return to oven and bake for 5-7 minutes until heated through and edges are golden.
  7. Garnish with fresh dill or parsley. Cut into wedges and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste. For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with grilled halloumi or extra veggies.
