Description

A creamy and tangy whipped feta dip topped with tart cranberry sauce and a spicy-sweet hot honey drizzle. Perfect for holiday gatherings or as a flavorful appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup whole milk or heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup canned whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or to taste)
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish (optional)
  • Crostini, pita chips, or vegetable sticks for serving


Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the feta cheese, cream cheese, olive oil, and milk. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the cranberry sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes. Warm over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is slightly thinned and heated through. Remove from heat.
  3. Spoon the cranberry mixture over the whipped feta in the bowl. Swirl gently.
  4. Drizzle additional hot honey over the top if desired. Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme.
  5. Serve immediately with crostini, pita chips, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste. Adjust the red pepper flakes in the hot honey to control the spice level. For a smoother texture, ensure the cream cheese is fully softened.
