Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups dry stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, stuffing mix, cranberries, chicken broth, egg, onion, garlic, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch balls and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey balls in a single layer and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned on all sides.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes until the turkey is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Serve warm with extra cranberry sauce or gravy if desired.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. For a crispier texture, bake the balls in the oven at 375°F for 20-25 minutes instead of pan-frying.
