Description

A moist chocolate cake poked with holes and filled with a sweet marshmallow cream, then topped with fluffy frosting for a decadent dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus required ingredients like eggs, oil, and water)
  • 1 cup marshmallow cream
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Mini marshmallows for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare and bake the chocolate cake in a 9×13-inch pan according to package directions. Let cool for 10 minutes.
  2. Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the warm cake. In a bowl, mix marshmallow cream and sweetened condensed milk until smooth, then pour over the cake, spreading to fill the holes.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread over the cooled cake. Garnish with mini marshmallows if desired. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
