Description

A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender beef strips, sweet onions, and a glossy garlic soy sauce that coats every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine beef strips with cornstarch, soy sauce, and black pepper. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef strips and stir-fry until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove beef and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add onion and garlic. Stir-fry for 2 minutes until fragrant. Return beef to pan, add oyster sauce, sesame oil, and water. Cook for 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens and coats the beef. Serve hot.
