Description

A festive and delicious pull-apart bread shaped like a Christmas tree, filled with a creamy cheesy artichoke and spinach mixture. Perfect for holiday parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls or pizza dough
  • 1 cup chopped spinach, cooked and squeezed dry
  • 1 cup chopped artichoke hearts, drained
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Roll out the crescent rolls or pizza dough into a large rectangle. If using crescent rolls, press perforations to seal.
  4. Spread the spinach-artichoke mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Cut the dough into strips and stack them, then cut into squares to form pull-apart pieces. Alternatively, shape into a tree: arrange pieces in a tree shape on the baking sheet, starting with a trunk and rows of branches.
  6. Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning, if desired.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Pull apart and enjoy!

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
