Description

A festive and cheesy pull-apart bread shaped like a Christmas tree, filled with a creamy artichoke and spinach mixture. Perfect for holiday gatherings and parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Marinara sauce, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella, artichoke hearts, spinach, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  3. Separate biscuit dough into 8 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 4 equal pieces.
  4. Flatten each piece into a small disk. Place about 1 teaspoon of the spinach-artichoke mixture in the center. Pinch edges to seal and roll into a ball.
  5. Arrange the balls on the prepared baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree: start with a row of 5 balls at the bottom, then 4, then 3, then 2, then 1 at the top. Place a small ball for the trunk at the bottom center.
  6. Brush the balls with melted butter. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella, dried parsley, and garlic powder.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
