Description
Chewy cookies loaded with Bits of Butterfinger and gooey caramel, topped with a crunchy caramel drizzle. These cookies are irresistible!
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped Butterfinger candy bars
- 1 cup caramel bits or soft caramels, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce for drizzle (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture. Fold in chopped Butterfinger and caramel bits.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until edges are golden brown. Centers may appear slightly soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
- If desired, drizzle cooled cookies with caramel sauce for extra crunch and gooeyness.
