A luxurious twist on classic bruschetta featuring creamy burrata cheese atop crispy toasted bread, topped with juicy cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 large baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 8 ounces burrata cheese
- Balsamic glaze for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- In a medium bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, basil, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, and remaining olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Toss gently and let sit for 10 minutes to meld flavors.
- Remove burrata from refrigerator about 15 minutes before serving. Drain and pat dry.
- Top each toasted baguette slice with a generous amount of the tomato mixture.
- Tear or slice the burrata into pieces and place on top of each bruschetta.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve immediately.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. For extra flavor, rub the toasted bread with a cut garlic clove before adding toppings.
