Description

Soft, buttery cookies with tangy cream cheese and sweet blueberry jam swirled right into the center—cheesecake vibes without the fuss.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup blueberry jam or preserves


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into butter mixture until dough forms.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Flatten each ball, place a small dollop of cream cheese mixture and a teaspoon of blueberry jam in the center, then fold dough over to seal and roll back into a ball.
  6. Place cookies on baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on wire racks.
